GO App —
User Guide

The GO app, combined with the AiGo device, is designed to detect critical situations related to drowsiness and microsleep during driving. It intervenes with visual, audible and vibration alerts to warn the driver before it’s too late.

Requirements

Minimum smartphone specifications

Before starting, ensure your smartphone meets the minimum system requirements to guarantee optimal operation of the GO app and continuous connection with AiGo.

Phase 1 — Before driving
1

User registration

Your fleet manager or the Oraigo team creates your account. You will receive an invitation email containing temporary credentials and a link to download the GO app from Google Play or the App Store.

✓ Verification checklistEnsure you have received the invitation email and installed the application on your driving device before your first shift.
2

First login

Open the GO app and enter your credentials. On your first access you will be prompted to:

  • Set a secure new personal password
  • Grant Bluetooth, Notifications, and Location permissions (select «Always allow» for location)
  • Disable battery optimization for the GO app so it runs uninterrupted even with the screen locked
Permissions infoLocation data is used solely to contextualize safety events (road type, speed) within fleet management reports.
3

Bluetooth connection to AiGo

Turn on the AiGo headband by holding the power button for 2 seconds (violet blinking LED). In the GO app:

  • Tap «Search device» on the home screen
  • Select your AiGo from the list (identified by serial number printed inside the headband)
  • Wait for pairing confirmation: device status icon turns solid green
WarningAlways pair the headband directly through the GO app, never from your phone's system Bluetooth settings.
4

Start session

Before starting your engine, tap «Start session» in the app. The application performs a quick automatic system check:

  • Smartphone battery check (> 20% or connected to vehicle charger)
  • AiGo remaining battery check (> 2 hours)
  • GPS reception and cellular data status check

Wearing AiGo correctly

Correct positioning is essential for high-fidelity EEG signal quality:

forehead
Clean skinDry forehead, free from excessive sweat or oils
2–3 cm
Above eyebrowsFrontal sensors resting 2–3 cm above upper eyebrow line
temples
Temple sensorsStable contact on temples behind hairline
fit
Strap tensionFirm yet comfortable fit without excessive pressure
6

Calibration and signal quality check

Once donned, the GO app starts an automatic 30-second signal calibration. During this period:

  • Sit calmly in your normal driving position
  • Avoid sharp head movements and excessive forehead muscle contractions
  • Observe the app screen: all sensor bars must reach green status

Fatigue detected (Preventive alert)

When the algorithm detects drowsiness patterns (rising Theta, declining Alpha), the app issues a preventive warning up to 13 minutes before microsleep:

AlertNormal monitoring, no driver action required
FatigueYellow banner + discreet audio prompt
CriticalRed alarm + continuous sound + vibration
Recommended actionAt yellow alert: ventilate cab, plan next rest stop within 15 minutes, hydrate. Do not ignore the signal.
8

Critical situation — emergency protocol

If drowsiness evolves into acute fatigue or impending microsleep, the app escalates immediately:

  • To dismiss the alarm, tap the screen once safely stopped
  • The incident is logged with timestamp and GPS coordinates in the safety portal
  • Rest for at least 15–20 minutes before resuming your route
Phase 3 — After driving
9

End session

With the vehicle safely parked and engine off, tap «End session» in the GO app. Remove the AiGo headband and power it off by holding the button for 3 seconds.
